Backup schemes ensure maximum of 10 minutes of data is lost if a server goes down. Full database backups are created periodically (either weekly, monthy). .Every ten minutes transaction logs are backed up. Backup files are sent to Amazon S4 every 5 minutes (database and transaction logs). Local copies are kept for approximately 3 cyles.
